Transparency

In this section, in compliance with Legislative Decree 33/2013, information concerning the organization and activities of Sapienza University of Rome is accessible, with the aim of promoting widespread forms of oversight regarding the performance of institutional functions and the use of public resources.

Personal data may be reused only under the conditions established by current regulations on the reuse of public sector information (Directive 2003/98/EC and Legislative Decree 36/2006 implementing it), in ways compatible with the purposes for which they were collected and recorded, and in compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data.

Transparency contributes to the implementation of the democratic principle and the constitutional principles of equality, impartiality, proper conduct, accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency in the use of public resources, as well as integrity and loyalty in service to the nation. It is a condition that guarantees individual and collective freedoms, as well as civil, political, and social rights; it complements the right to good administration and contributes to the development of an open administration serving citizens.”
