Professor Paolo Bottoni of the Department of Computer Science received the award for 2nd Best Paper presented at t IEEE TechDefense 2025, held from 5th to 7th November in Rome for the work “Guarded Swarms: Hybrid Digital-Analog Coordination for AI-Robot Systems”, co-authored with Professor Uwe Borghoff of the University of the Bundeswehr, Germany, and Professor Remo Pareschi of the University of Molise, Italy.
The paper was recognized among a highly qualified field of contributions dedicated to defense, security, and autonomous systems.
