Titolo: A crossroad between Biometrics and HCI: Biometric Interaction

Abstract: This short talk will start from considering that both Multimodal Interaction and Biometric Recognition represent the evolution of signal processing from only dealing with images and signals as objects to analyze, to transforming them into real tools to communicate. Of course, processing and analysis remain the preliminary and irreplaceable steps to correctly activate the channels in both directions. It is interesting to consider that the same procedures and strategies can be both used for authentication and for smart interaction.
