Annalisa Massini obtained her degree in Mathematics from the “Sapienza” University of Rome in 1989.

She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the “Sapienza” University of Rome in 1993

From 1993 to 1994 she was in receipt of a Hewlett Packard fellowship.

From 1994 to 1996 she was in receipt of a Post-doctoral fellowship.

From 1996 to 2001 she was an Assistant Professor in the “Dipartimento di Informatica” of the “Sapienza” University of Rome, where, since November 2001, she has been an Associate Professor.
