I met Francesco many years ago at a Tapsoft conference. Then we met again in L’Aquila although he left just before I joined the Department. For the next couple of years Francesco continued to teach also in L’Aquila and kept well educating our first generations of computer scientists. We shared lunches, conversations and rides to and from Rome. Grazie Francesco.
