Title: Graph Algorithms and their Applications

Abstract: Most of the real-life problems (in which a set of entities connected by relations are involved) can be modeled as a problem on graphs. I have studied the graph model and the solution of a number of problems coming from several fields, such as communication and VLSI representation of interconnection topologies, routing and interference avoidance in wired and wireless networks, visualization, and co-phylogeny. Here, I will describe at a very high level my most recent results whose problems come from biology and from networking.
