Flavio Chierichetti, a young professor of our Department, has been awarded a prestigious European Research Council Starting Grant. ERC Starting Grants support young excellent researchers throughout Europe that are building an independent research team to work on a ground-breaking high risk/high gain research idea. The grant is about Big Data and it will support Flavio's research for 5 years with a budget of ~1.2M€.
