Title: From Hedonic Games to Fair Division: My Algorithmic Journey in Social Choice and Game Theory
Abstract: My research lies at the intersection of computational social choice and algorithmic game theory, with a focus on mechanism design for hedonic games and algorithmic aspects of fair division. Across my work, I have studied how algorithmic and game-theoretic tools can be used to understand strategic behavior, design effective mechanisms, and achieve desirable notions of fairness in settings involving self-interested agents.
In this talk, I will present an overview of my research trajectory, highlighting my contributions and expertise across these two main lines of research. In hedonic games, I have investigated both stability and optimization aspects, with a particular focus on settings with incomplete information, where agents may have only partial knowledge of others’ preferences.
In fair division, I have explored a broad range of fairness notions, developing experience across several aspects of the field, including the algorithmic and computational challenges.
