Our Fabrizio Borgia won the award for the best PhD thesis on disability ("tesi di Dottorato di Ricerca sulla disabilità") set up by Sapienza University of Rome. Fabrizio got his PhD in 2015 with a thesis with title "Informatisation of a graphic form of Sign Languages: application to SignWriting". In this occasion, Fabrizio and his advisor Marilena De Marsico want to remind those who inspired this work, Elena Antinoro Pizzuto and Patrice Dalle. Unfortunately, both passed away, but their legacy will stay with us forever.
